I love big bang, although I do see that like any show it has it's faults.

Will come back to the other issues later but have to say agree with this, I am not stupid but in certain circles of 'intellectual' people I and others have been made to feel thick, or somehow that our opinions, lives etc are less valid because we don't have that particular type of intelligence.
For example I am in the top 1/2% percentile for English ability and there other areas where I excel, but I am simultaneously in the lowest 16% or similar/lower percentile for things involving maths, memory and other things.
Now I don't think that makes me thick. Just because my areas of strength are language, or even if I didn't have good language capability, empathy, which is a skill in and of itself, I don't appreciate people like me, or who's capabilities lie in physical things like building, construction etc (which I'd be clueless about) or any other type of individual who just doesn't happen to have that sort of 'scientific' or 'mathematical' brain being patronised and dismissed.
It cuts both ways, and bullying is bullying, physical or not. As is dismissing somebody because they aren't like you/don't think like you/have differing strengths. Respect runs both ways.
