I saw it today, I didn't really show much interest in it previously but I thought it was bloody good. Anne Hathaway's performance was, a laura said, breathtaking and had me sobbing (silently as apposed to a lady that was crying rather loudly).

Some of the actors really couldn't sing and some parts went rather slow but overall I thought it was brilliant. My nose and eyes were very sore after crying so much though, it was one of those 'STOP MAKING ME EMOTIONAL, IT'S ACTUALLY HURTING NOW' kind of films lol.

Oh and also, just when 'I dreamed a dream' started being sung, I pictured Susan boyle on Britains got talent and the shocked look on Simon Cowells face. Am I alone with that one?

Totally happened to me too!

Ohhhh she was so good at that song.

The song that got me most was 'do you hear the people sing.'

Was just so good. So so good.

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

Personally I wasn't keen, never felt the need to see the show (was put off by my uni lecturers) but thought I'd give the film a go, I was bored.
