I probably shouldn't have named my little airplane Icarus.

But it seems to recover quite nicely from my crashing it. Constantly.

That is an AMAzing sunflower!

HUGE!

I do like the fates. My boyfriend said he'd make me a spinning wheel sometime, but I'm doing all right with my spindle. I just can't get it to ply. Things are coming out smoother than they used to. But I still cackle when it's thick and thin. Poor poor mortals.

A good Friday evening story, I think.

The sunflower is pretty epic!

Greek mythology was interesting. All I can think of is Medusa!

I thought you meant spinning as in, going to the gym!

Spinning sounds relaxing though! - not the one I said!

I always felt sorry for Medusa. She didn't decide to have craaaazy hair. Or to turn people into stone.

It might be quite odd to have snakes for hair!

I didn't miss it. I just remember him introducing himself as other names to people on occasion. So to make it easier for all members, especially new ones, and ones that may have been confused, I tend to refer to people as their screen names. You know, for accessibility.

I guess that makes sense. Just, I prefer to refer to people by their first names, but I know there's some people who really don't like that, so I try to respect their wishes whenever I remember.

And you should totally go and see the guild! They'll help you out with no problem. I'm actually in the market for a new spindle because I'd like to try supported spinning because I think that might be easier. But my current one works well for bus rides.

And can you imagine how noisy it would be to have snakes for hair? And that hissing, not to mention the sounds of the snakes movements themselves. Ugh.

QFT!

Also that/those sunflower(s) is/are amazing. I don't think I could have complicated that further. I want one now!

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
