I can't do tampons; tried, failed, they just make me feel wholly uncomfortable.

I used Pad's for my first few periods when I was 11, then I started using tampons and didn't look back.

I now use both as I have serious leakage paranoia, never had an issue up until I was 15. I use a liner & tampon at night though then get up and go to the loo in the morning as I don't bleed AT ALL (usually) over night, then I overcompensate for it during the day, therefore inducing leakage paranoia.

The following content has been hidden - Reason : gross youtube related stuff.
In regards the the video, there was at one point 2 of them on youtube, one with the now viral video, and one with a chick who pulled it out and stuck it in her gob straight away. I'm scarred for life after watching them and resent my mate who thought it would be a laugh to watch them.

I do prefer tampons, but there;s so many horrible stories surrounding them I'm nervous when I use them! Pads get pretty disgusting though

Thanks Ferretmonster, it's ok.

Also how can a video go viral? What's a viral infection got to do with a video? Or is it to do with viruses? I'm confused.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Oli, viral when used in the context of a video going virul means that it has been highly popular and spread round the internet fast.

Has anyone ever used natural sea sponge before?

I've heard of people using natural sea sponge but don't know if people who use one think that it's better/worse/different than pads or tampons.

I used to use period pads when I had a shark week. Apart from that one time I went surfing and there was no other option, that made me feel horrible. Not that shark week didn't already make me want to die...
Now, I'm pretty sure my shark week has gone (yay and stuff!). All I have to do is get injected in the arse once a month!
I look forward to the day that I can have my womb ripped out.

People use natural sea sponge during their period yes, it's been used for many years. I've never used one personally but apparently they're soft, comfortable and reusable for around three to six months. You can also trim them to fit your personal body shape. This explains it a bit more; http://www.jadeandpearl.com/catalog/...products_id=18

I've never spoken to anyone who has used one though, I was wondering if anyone who has used one likes/doesn't like it for any reasons.

i don't use either because i have pcos and i don't get periods.. very rarely when i do i sit on a normal towel because a pad wouldn't be enough to soak the blood up. basically i have to stay in bed for about 3 days if it happens lol tmi i know i know.

My friend uses one, we got drunk and she showed us hers, she kept it in a little bag. She said it was better than a tampon.

I would probably never use one just because it seems kinda icky. But yeah, she was very complimentary (wrong word, can't think of the right one) of it.

I also look forward to this day, apparently I can't have a hysterectomy at 19, what a load of balls. Wouldn't do it at 16 either. Bunch o' wankers.

I use neither because implant means I do not bleed which is great.

Now I just have to wait until my insides can be surgically ripped out.
