I was going to post this thread in news and debate but felt that it fitted better here so yeah.
I agree with everyone saying that the fans are stupid for doing this.
Also, I was going to say that surely this is going to just make him feel horrible and therefore smoke more weed to get away from it all and then everything will spiral out of control and stupid children will be killing themselves because they idolise somebody a bit too much.
It is over 50 shades of ridiculous.

No I think the whole #cutforbieber thing was a hoax as in, it was publicised that he had smoked weed and then someone thought 'I know, I shall start cutforbieber and say that if people do that then he will stop smoking weed' but if not fair enough.

even though this is absolutely sickening and ridiculous, it makes me sad because I bet that there will be a handful of gullible girls who actually try it and end up doing it more and more. No matter your reason for hurting yourself it still can turn into a physical addiction that can take over your life.
Also I just told my boyfriend about this and his response was, "Well you're anti-Beiber so you should do the opposite." I think I'll do precisely that d:

Exactly what I was thinking. People can be influenced by the media/peers to start something & then 'like' it & continue.
I can't believe people would do this! Well, I can believe it, actually, but it makes me sad and shocked to see something like cutting circulating Twitter. This could have so many repercussions it's unreal.
Whether it was a "joke" or not and started by fans or people taking the mick out of fans, I think it was completely ridiculous and unnecessry. Of course the person or people who started the trend have no experience of self-harm and are therefore taking the attention-seeking route, so fair enough to them being ignorant but it's not really helpful when there's such a stigma already attached to SH. Also was it really necessary to post pictures cos some of them were pretty triggering, just saying (Although most of the pictures were quite funny parody photos, or taken straight from Google. But hey ho) It was really dumb and ignorant in my opinion.
