You have no idea how demoralising it is to hear the same woeing about harley alllll the time.
We can actually do most things without harley these days (no offence!) You dont need an update, just take the site for what it is and we try to improve with the tools we have. If/when Harley comes back and we have V4 itll be super amazing but if everyone thought the same way as you nothing would ever get done.
Also, if youre not here often then why are you so bothered O.o

Ok let me break it down for you (without belittling you by saying your remarks are silly,which I think is incredibly rude by the way.)
Im not going to ask why youre not here,because youre one out of however many members RYL has and you are free to come and go as you please with your own free will and Im not going to lose any sleep over one member not wanting to be here.
Whats that?.... Its a site with functioning boards, a well run support system, a well run and staffed forum mod team and a well run chat moderator team. We have an excellent first aid forum with careful advice. We are not overrun by spam bots due to tireless efforts by the mods.
We are a site with a community team that makes community events to raise morale and to take care of things on the main site. We are a site with a team of dedicated supporters. We are a site that has improved since moderators were given the powers needed and the freedom to run things the way we believe are right for RYL.
We are a site who the other day had one of the most successful evenings that chat has ever had, where people exceeded my expectations and made me proud to be a part of this.
We are a site where we have people who continuously PR threads that are rule breaking so that we can stop members from being trigggered.
Point out to me where we are lacking and poor?Because we cant change some moods?Because we have some main site issues?Because things arent picked up immediately because the site isnt run by robots.
Harley is a big part of this site, he has been for a very long time, but I am offended by the notion that we as a site do not do well without him. We are one of the best self harm websites out there, bold statement....but ive seen most of them and theyre awful compared to here.
Maybe instead of complaining you should take a step back and look at all of the good points. This site doesnt just hobble along, it runs well. So we have some problems, so we have issues....this is an organic thing, it grows and changes and with those things come issues, but we do a damn fine job of keeping up with that.
If you care so much then maybe stop abandoning the site and stick with it.

The silly remark i was reffering to was when you said "if your not around very much then why are you so bothered. Just because im not here very much it doesnt mean i dont care. The way in which it was said makes it sound like i dont care at all when in fact i do. I know the mods work hard im not saying you dont. That is not the issue. The issue is that we have pages of crap to do with moods, when it has been discussed several times. We have no one to do it and even if we did it would take ages and i just find it silly to be going over the same thing all the time. Who cares about the moods, leave them as they are, they are perfectly fine. I also didnt mention anything about the mods or chat so i dont know where you have got that from. I never said the site should be run by robots and dont ever expect things to be picked up right away. Not really. RYL is lacking in certain things, and it's quite naive to think otherwise. Yes, of course it has its good points, but it's also got its bad. And it is these bad points that are continually brought up and shot down, it gets pretty tiresome after a while.
For the moods, I see little point in discussing them when we know it's something that can't be changed or altered. I'm all for discussing things that can be changed in some way though.
(And the term "flidding" is quite offensive, even when used in a joking manner.)

I agree about the word flidding being offensive, I personally really dislike the jokey use of that word.
I also agree with Liv, both myself and many many others work their arses off for this site, and I resent people dissing it and our work for so many none essential issues. Yes it would be good if Harley were more active, yes I'm sure V4 will be fabulous, but in the mean time I think this version works pretty damn well.

Some people find words offensive, others don't. I think everyone has to accept people are entitled to use whatever words they like and if you don't like a word, you just don't use it.
I've said this before but words change meaning over time. Crap, for example. Retarded, as another. Gay, as a third.
^ I agree with the whole freedom of speech angle, although at the same time if someone uses a word in a context I find offensive and I ask them politely not to use that word in that way in my presence, I would expect the respect for that person to refrain from using it (where possible/not accidentally slipping out) in my presence. (Bit of a side note.)
Regarding RYL I have to admit I would see having a 'flidding' mood as bad as if we had 'spazzer' as a mood.
