I know it's life Leigh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to moan. I quit my last job due to the lack of training and how lonely it was, so it's not quite the same reasons. And I'm not planning on quitting this job, was just voicing thoughts. It just sometimes feels like working so hard at my degree was a bit pointless as it's not being applied in this role. The people who got the job with me and I are going to write a group email stating the things we've been promised and how we're not happy with stuff etc, which should help :)

Well done for being a trooper at your job x

I know your not moaning Ali, but, all these healthcare jobs are so similar, lack of training is sadly a factor in a lot of these jobs..thats healthcare for you really. I'm glad your not going to quit. I hope the email helps.

Yay for surviving, any news on uni? Did you go to that group?

kitty, hope breakfast went well and you were able to have something. Have you seen your social worker/cpn yet?

I'm getting super tired and I have to stay awake because I'm doing work so staying awake would be a good idea then I have to be up at half 7 for a meeting i've got at half 10 >.< xxxx

Making a doctors appointment sounds like a good idea Kitty.. I had using phones too but something like that is a good thing to start with I find because there are easy 'rules' to follow and you won't be expected to make conversation or anything! Planning what to say beforehand can help ("Could I make an appointment to see Dr X"). I'm sure you can do it!

Hope your meeting tomorrow goes well.

Thank you lovely!
I'm terrified of what'll happen when I go see the doctors though if I ever stop freaking out and actually ring them I know its oging to take forever though because I'm really scared xxxx

I know it's scary but hopefully it will be a positive thing and they'll be able to offer something that helps. Maybe just plan to do it at a certain time, tomorrow even, and just take a deep breath and go for it.

I guess I just hoped the NHS might be a bit better - at least I know now! Work was okay today, I'm working late-early-late-early (just finished the first late) so I should be getting to bed really.

I hope you manage to get to the doctors Kitty, it sounds like you could really use the support. I also hate using the phone, but the more you do it, the easier it gets - I can actually phone and make appointments now which I couldn't do 6 months ago :)

Sorry, I've been rubbish at being about recently, seriously. I hope you're all doing okay. Well done on the getting work done front, Leigh.
Star, how're things? I hope you're doing okay.
Vicks, sorry that your mum said that, try not to let it get to you (easier said than done) also, welcome to the fun.

I've got my last day at uni tomorrow then I have time for essaying and placement meetings etc before I go out on placement and only have one day in uni, so hopefully I won't keep disappearing. I do miss you guys. I also have a giant face-spot. Not sure if they're connected though.

In all seriousness, I do hope things are okay for everyone.

Claire! It's nice to see you :) But nothing to apologize for. How is uni going? And how are you? Hope things are ok!
