So the latest James Bond film is apparently the best ever. Opinions?

I very much enjoyed it but have only seen 1 or 2 others so haven't really got much of a reference point.

I've been watching Bond films since I was little, i've seen them all. I really enjoyed Skyfall but I would say its as good as a few others, not better. I'm disappointed with the ending but understood why they did it and i'm impressed with how they did it also. End of an era, start of a new one. I was brought up during the Brosnan Era so It took me a little while to get used to the Daniel Craig movies.

Ive yet to see it, im not sure i will see it till its out on dvd. I wasnt a big fan of Daniel Craig as Bond =/ I liked when we had Sean Connery, Roger Moore & Pierce Brosnan.

I liked Skyfall. I saw it last weekend and I wanted to see it again this weekend, but it didn't happen.

I thought it was one of the best ones, and the title song by Adele is one of the best Bond themes IMO.

I miss Brosnan too as that's who I remember growing up. Like others I was sad at the ending but felt it was necessary and well done.

I really liked Skyfall a lot. I'd say for me it was the best Bond, I think it just had a mix of everything, being very modern but was still funny at times, had a good villain, good gadgets and characters. I liked how everything fell into place too, one bit of the ending I did not predict. My other favourites bonds are Goldeneye, Octopussy and Casino Royale. I think Daniel Craig's a great bond too, looking forward to the 2 more Bond films he's scheduled to appear in.

I saw it yesterday and really liked Skyfall, but have only seen one other Bond film, so I don't have a point of reference as to if it is the best. I thought the ending was so sad, I admit I cried a bit.

1. Daniel Craig
2. Sean Connery
3. Pierce Brosnan
4. Roger Moore
5. Timothy Dalton
6. George Lazenby

Overcome, is he really contracted for two more Bond films? I was thinking he looks to be already starting to out-age the role. I'm actually quite happy to hear he will be in more films.

I quite like Daniel Craig but I have to admit he is getting on a bit. Today my OT told me that she preferred Piers Morgan as James bond. Not Pierce Brosnan, Piers Morgan. Haha.

I saw Skyfall today, and although I haven't seen a lot of Bond movies, it definitely was my favourite so far. I liked how the main plot was around something much more personal than 'someone plotting to blow up the world'; made a refreshing change. I also preferred it to the previous two films as they managed to get a bit of humour in around all the serious dramas.

I thought it was great - showing a james bond that is slowing down due to age - and the action was good :) brilliant film!

Which is interesting as the have done the last 3 films in a paradoxical manner in that Casino Royal is where bond first becomes 007, his next big mission (being a follow on) is in quantum and then Skyfall follows that, so this is actually the beginning of the bond story line where he shouldn't be old, but is and its confusing and makes my head hurt.

Still a damn good film!

^ Don’t worry I'm sure Jimmy Bond still has the skills to thwart any super-villain

Thought it was very good; sympathetic to classic Bondians but with a quirky modern twist.

Only thing that made me sad was after having a very strong female character throughout the last few films, the end of this just falls back into the classic Bond misogyny. Boo.

It was my first Bond film. Oh the shame.
I'd tried to watch previous ones, but often late at night & fell asleep..

I really enjoyed it :)
I'd have liked more of Q..!

Sean Connery is James Bond. I don't even bother with the others and I like Brosnan. You just know Sean would kick Pierce's butt at most anything except acting posh

Isn't bond supposed to be posh originally from a well to do family?
