Today I left the flat to spend my friend's last few hours in London with him. I was going to cancel. But I'd have felt bad.
I also got through to the team my psych lady works on and left her a message, she's in tomorrow so hopefully she'll call.
That's me for the day, but I'm happy with it. And yeah, my boyfriend is really sweet, in that same conversation he talked to my two stuffed toys and told them to look after me. He's such a soppy sod, but he's the sweetest.
Katie (?) - I hope that's the right name! That's really good to hear you're seeking support, hope things are going ok.
Thanks Willow :)
Aha, bless him :') The most I ever got from a guy talking about such things were that my scars don't "put him off or anything" in a mumbled voice xP So you're onto a winner! ;)
oh, isn't it time you got over, how fragile you are?
we're all waiting, waiting on your supernova
because that's who you are,
and you've only begun to shine.
I managed to get through the longest, hardest day of my academic week. And even managed to impress my English lecturer by understanding a very obscure metaphor in a Yeats poem.
I managed to be at work stupidly early and worked a 9 hour shift.
I felt ok doing the tasks I was given even thogh I found talking to some of my co-workers awkward at times.
Well Done Conor on getting through college and long journeys!

Laura- well done. Just give yourself some time to get used to ALL the people. I am sure you will feel more comfortable around them after getting used to your job. <3

Sorry, I don't normally post here, but I've been ALL the brave today, and wanted to share it somewhere. :)
Today I went to a society meet up for the first time ever, on my own (my social mentor was busy so she couldn't take me), and I spoke to people there, and had a really good time! And I plan to go along again tomorrow ^_^
On top of this, I also called up the university halls' hotline to report the graffiti someone had done in my flat whilst I was out, despite being super-nervous about calling them up.

It sounds like you're really trying hard to move forward, you should be proud.

Glad you had a good time, they're daunting tasks and you handled them well.
Hmm, well, today I had to ring up about benefits which I was ridiculously anxious about. I'd been putting it off for days but had to call today because there has been all sorts of problems with said benefit and I'd recieved a letter saying my claim had been disallowed and it was all very stressful to me. I was put on hold and passed from pillar to post a lot, the phone call ended up lasting about half an hour. However I called, and even though I might have to ring again next week at least I know what's going on now.
Oh god I want to hear you say,
I want to hear you say that you were wrong again
This is the first thing
I have understood:
Time is the echo of an axe
