My friend's mum was on it years ago & she went through pre-auditions before the judges ... & then she got laughed at
My friend auditioned a few years ago and she waited for 12 hours in the queue before she auditioned, and even then she auditioned for the producers. You have to get through that stage before the judges - so pretty much all the contestants are pre-selected by the producers! So they put the shocking ones through just for the shits and giggles and to make it seem more genuine.
Also apparently this year - singers have been scouted out to be fast-tracked through the audition process without needing to audition!

I felt a bit sorry for the guy that couldn't get the timing right - even when the audience were singing it at him, he still joined in at the wrong place. I reckon he just got really nervous.
& that girl that came with her mum/family & she was really bad but her parents still thought she was great ... always amazes me when that happens!

Loved that Mum/fairy who did Janis Joplin, I reckon she'll go far. I felt sooo sorry for that woman's teenagers, the girl looked like she was going to cry. Hope they don't get picked on for it!
& on Xtra factor Jade returned but I didn't think she gave her best performance, was still good though & the 'left my heart in Tokyo' girl was on it. I like that song
Lucy Spraggon <3 I know it's old news but I'm a little bit in love!
I love the song Last Night which she sang for her audition, however I have listened to some of her other songs and although some of them are silly the girl also sings some amazingly deep and moving songs. Her lyrics are fantastic.
In some ways I am disappointed that her album has been taken off spotify etc but I can also completely understand why it has been necessary!
