hello!
Hello everyone! I'm not reallly sure where to start, but I guess I'll start with a little bit about myself.
I am a 23 year old female and am diagnosed with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, anorexia nervosa and substance abuse as well. I have been in therapy on and off for the past 5 years or so, everything from CBT and DBT to inpatient therapy for substance abuse and eating disorder. I have come a long way through it and have made a lot of progress in my recovery. But even so, I do struggle sometimes and I'm looking for a little bit of anonymous support to help keep me going in the right direction.
I'm not really sure what else to say for the introduction lol but I am looking forward to using this forum. Thanks for reading :)

Hi! I'd love to hear any hobbies you have, music you like, etc :) Props on the recovery progress! I find congratulating myself or generally giving myself a reward for each thing I do well helps :) If it's a particularly rough time, where you're needing to take the days and weeks in smaller pieces, even saying to myself "I'm awesome" every hour or two that I'm doing what I need to be doing can reinforce what I'm doing. For larger milestones, treating myself to a professional massage/pedicure or a ticket to a performance I'd enjoy renews my ability to do what I need by giving my mind/body a much needed rest/pampering/break. Just make the rewards in proportion to the milestones you've achieved, and try and make sure they're also still in line with your goals, or at least not counter to them. For instance, if you're trying to take charge of finances, something expensive might not be a good reward unless you responsibly saved up for it. I hope that makes sense! I know I can sometimes be rubbish trying to write down what's going on in my head.
PM me if you'd like to talk ;)
