Confused
I just need some advice...........
I have been cut free for 8 months now, my life is pretty much on track. I have finished my exams, which i think has gone fairly well, I have a good job, I have finally found someone I love and he loves me.
So i just can't work out why i'm having the urge to cut..... part of me is missing it for some reason, I desperately don't want to go back as i promised myself in 2012 i wouldn't but the urge is strong again.
Any advice would be great.

I think when you've relied on something for so long it's almost easy to revert to it, even if you don't think you have anything that justifies it. Maybe you remember the calming effect?
If you stay strong through these urges, it will get easier every time
Sorry I don't have anything more useful to say!

I guess that is true, it was calming.
It's just the urges are getting stronger,, im trying to stay strong but it's getting harder each time.
Thank you for your reply.

well.. it doesn't get easier every time, but it does get easier over time in general.
maybe if you just try to go on with your life as normal the urges will die down... i feel like sometimes they just come back almost out of habit, and i have to just press forwards and they'll eventually go away. i mean, use coping skills, but don't put your life on hold for this.

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.
The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.
PM me anytime, I love getting messages :)
