Getting rid of my scars.

Does anybody have any good tips or whatnot to help me get rid of all these nasty scars I have? Because I'm done with cutting, and I don't wanna do it anymore, and I'm tired of being concerned about my scars. I want them gone because I hate having them. And I don't want my future wife seeing the horror that is my hip. And it worries me, and I really really badly want them gone.

The ones on my wrist aren't bad; they're just faded red lines. But my hip scars are white and raised. I dunno if that makes a difference.

The only thing I have tried is Mederma. It did help fade the scars on my lower arm, but I got tired of using it so my other ones aren't gone. The only thing with the creams/gels is that it may take weeks, months or even years to get them to fade. I've never tried this before, but there is also laser scar removal. That will probably cost a lot of money and I'm not sure how well it works, though. I guess just look around online and see what is best for you and your price range would be the best. Also, you can go see a Dermatologist and ask them to see what would be best for you.

Rubbing the juice from a lemon on the scars helps them fade, for some reason. Just twice a day, rub it in and try not to wash your arm/wherever for a couple hours. It helps them fade pretty quickly, but they won't completely go away.
