Putting a thread on ignore question.
Hi.
So, ive put this thread on ignore because it clogs up my live forum view constantly with stuff that i have no interest in.
However, although i can now no longer see it when i click on that specific area of the forum, it STILL comes up on the live forum view.
Can i do anything to make it stop or do all threads always appear in LFV?
ta.

Yep, sadly it happens that LFV doesn't invisible any Ignored threads. I've had that problem too in the past. It is irky!

in all honesty, i dont care to see the same 3/4 people have the same conversations over the same 3/4 threads. It annoys me and is boring.
but, i think a lot of people use it if there is a thread that they find particualarly triggering.
You can also put certain members on ignore in the forums like you can in chat.

Sadly I don't think you can stop it showing up on LFV.

But it clogs up the live forum view because its the same spamming of certain threads all the time, it means youre more likely to miss posts you want to read!x

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

Live Forum view works so that you get a updated scrolling page of every post made.. kind of like your news feed on facebook.

I think you just have to ignore it, not much else you can do really.

But yeah, the only thing I could think of would be to do the option where you only see threads you're subscribed to, but then you wouldn't get to see new threads.
Or you could refresh LFV every now and then, and I'm pretty sure it then clumps posts in the same thread, so you'd only see the most recent post in *insert name of spam thread*

No other sadness in the world would do
