Never been on it, but here's something you can check out http://www.crazymeds.org/trileptal.html

Classified under Mood Stabilizers. I'm on two right now. A lot of them have the FDA approved use for Epilepsy/Seizures, but the off label uses can be for various psychiatric disorders. Hope that site gives you a little info. Sorry I can't provide more of a personal experience.

If people don't respond enough though [which they didn't when I posted about Lamictal, deleted my post and went signed up at CrazyMeds], check out that site's forum, particularly this section http://www.crazymeds.org/CrazyTalk/i...p?showforum=39 Has quite a few posts on Trileptal.

I was on it for a long while, i took it as a mood stablizer and it worked for me while compined with wellbutrin. it worked great. But it is different for everyone, also watch the doseage because it can be harmful if perscribed in high doseages when not use for epilepsy!

GOOD LUCK!!

Hey, I've been taking Trileptal for about 2 years. It's worked okay, but I've had to keep increasing the dosage to get the same effect. And if I take too much at one time, it makes me dizzy, so I have to take most of it at night. So yeah...just my experience.
