I am currently:
Struggling after baby

I'm hoping someone might have some advice, I recently had my first child and I've found myself wanting to go back to old habits. I'm not postpartum and I haven't done anything in over a year. I've had counseling, talked out my feelings with my fiance and mother, I've tried distractions, but nothing seems to make the urges any less strong. I've also recently found out my Grandmother who is a huge part of my life is dying and that's made things even worse, thus far I've been able to stay good for my baby but I'm not sure how long I can keep it up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think just ask your counselor to assist you in finding good ways to release your stress? I'm sorry if that doesn't help much. But best of luck, my thoughts are with you.

I am currently:

I cant talk to my counselor because I'm no longer eligible for sessions with her since I graduated and I don't have the money to pay a counselor outside of school.

I am currently:

I had postpartum depression and it can look different ways for different people. I felt like I had no emotions for the first six months (not happy or sad) and then after that depression hit hard and I had lots of urges and difficult thoughts. I ended up in the hospital and I still struggle with it. Take it seriously and get help or it can really get bad. I feel for you. Please take care.
