CBT

My doctor has suggest that I start CBT. I don't know that much about it so was just wondering if people have done it and how they found it.
Thanks

I didn't find it very helpful to be honest, but I've heard from other people that they found it useful. I found it too structured.

To say I'm completely devoid of morals, would be harsh. Although I would have to admit I find it difficult to give a ****.

For phobias; I have found it really helpful. I haven't experienced it for other problems though. x

I'm in a group therapy specifically for BPD/EUPD called STEPPS, and apparently it's CBT-based, I've been finding it okay, some people may not like it, some may strive with it.

I had CBT for depression and found it helpful for a while. It was good to have the support of my therapist when trying to challenge my negative thoughts and after a while I managed to challenge the thoughts myself. I'm not able to use what I have learnt any more though, not sure why.
