Internet problem. Help?

Calling all technical peoples, my internet works in every room in my house EXCEPT my bedroom. It's closer to the router than other rooms but its perfect in those rooms that are further away. I have tried foil on the antenna and thought it had worked as I got signal for about half an hour but then it stopped again. No one else has a problem (although I havent tried them in my bedroom so I cant be sure) anyone got any idea whats going on because its not like i cant connect at all...

Any idea what router you have?

The most likely answer is that, when your house was built, your room was the designated fallout shelter room (very common, sometimes the basement is just too far away) and it's blocking RF "radiation".

Or even more likely still, I just made all that up. Do you have poor signal quality, or are you clean disconnecting frequently with a good quality when actually connected?

There might be metal objects in the wall like pipes that are absorbing the waves. Other than that, wifi is weird and temperamental. Your best bet is probably to take a drill and put cat5 cable through the wall.
