Thank you Harley and Tony for a wonderful Christmas parcel!! It was one of the last presents I opened this morning because I like to save the best for last
Let's see...I got an SI awareness AND recovery bracelet (both of which I'm wearing right now!!), starfish magnet, little yellow rubber man, the magical fortune telling fish(!), funny joke, card, and enough money to apparently buy the entire country of Zimbabwe
Thanks so much you guys, this really made Christmas extra special for me this year. The fact that you guys handpicked all this stuff and handsigned every single card is amazing, and filled me with such warm fuzzies upon opening my parcel. I made it through a difficult evening yesterday without SI'ing, so I'm able to wear my bracelets today with pride.
Everything said here.....you guys are amazing, you signed EVERY card! I really wasn't expecting that and to be honest that was one of the nicest parts....naughty me opened it a few weeks ago as I wasn't sure where it had come from and it made me smile!

But beyond that is the THOUGHT behind the gifts. That is what is so very touching.
Thank you.
Agreed ^

A CD is an amazing present and to be honest I was just grateful for post that made me smile! I got a glider thing which probably didn't cost loads but that isn't the point, it made me smile as I put it together and threw it across the room....and I fully intend to be throwing it regularly at visitors to my flat!!

What Vicks said ^ Maybe you could try making someone else smile. I won bottle of wine in a raffle, I don't drink wine, therefore dropped it at a friends house who I knew would appreciate it....

I think that if youre disappointed with what you got you should express that away from RYL, because its so ungrateful, especially to people who couldnt afford to buy a ticket and so couldnt get involved. (I know Tony offered to give them for free but I know of people who didnt take up that offer)
Harley and Tony didnt have to do this at all, they couldve just put up a message saying merry christmas, but they took time and effort to send out presents to everyone who entered. How were they supposed to know what you like? They cant read minds!
I find it pretty shocking that youre being so ungrateful, you got other presents from other people, youre not exactly unloved.
Bah.
P.S. I havent had mine, but whatever I get I will be grateful for.
TOTALLY AGREE! If I was pissed off with my present, I may moan but not to the people who bought it, it may not be perfect but its the thought that counts!

But it would seem you are the only one rude enough to post it rather than to be grateful for getting anything at all.

Its people like you that destroy what christmas is meant to be about.
Perhaps you will just be banned from taking part in anythin like this in future.
AGREED ^

I came to the thread to see what people got as I was interested. I'm not that bothered that I got nothing, but I like to see what others got and genrelly to see them be excited/happy/positive about the items.
If you dont liek what you got then give it away to someone who would like it... that's what most people do
I couldn't afford a ticket, and I have also not gotten anything from anyone else. Though I will be getting something from my partner after new year so I'm better off than some.
The idea was to give people something to make them feel happy, to feel thought of, to give them something to open on Christmas.
sorry but this has genuinely upset me a little
I wish I could have bought tickets for other people and then I would have got nothing for the money except a warm fuzzy feeling however I am skint....

I dislike candyfloss but a machine that sings.....IMMENSE!!!
Overall I am happy that I took part.....I prob would have paid £2 just for the card and the thought to be honest.... HARLEY AND TONY, you are very much appreciated!!
I enjoy responding to things with gifs.
Tumblr completes my life.
I love how I can find something on there for every mood/feeling.
I also love how stubborn I am when I want to post something. Will literally not do anything else until I have finished what I want to post.

HAZEL! If you come to the Scotland meet, I'll bring a present for you; it's so sad that you didn't get any today :(

Geez, guys, get a room :p
Also, major love for Harley and Tony! I meant to enter on behalf of another member, but I'm a NUMPTY and forgot (SORRY MARY!!!!), but just wanted to drop by and show some love because I know that the giveaway has made loads of people really happy :)
And I've seen mention of people getting a starfish magnet? Auragrace, if that was one of the 'crappy' things you were horribly ungrateful for, then send it my way please, I know a member who would love one of those :)
My fish; one hand says I'm in love, the other says I'm indifferent and my tummy says I'm jealous.
Borderline fish is borderline :P
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
I got 'a top prize' according to my card<3
£10 tesco gift card, a fishy thingy, some amazing bracelts annnnnd a stretchy yellow man thing (off the top of my head thast was what was in the parcel anyho :) )
I kinda hope the comments I've seen quoted get deleted before Tony/Harlyey get a chance to read them. The amount of hard work that was put into this.. Well, words fail. Thanks guys, you really made a miserable christmas special and when I go to hospital at some point next week, I'll be surre to take my parcel with me<3
