Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"
Thomas Parke D’Invilliers
I got a fridge (just moved), a LEGO book, PJs, a cushion, Tangled on DVD, Fat Cash, bed socks, a mug, hot chocolate, the most awesome Original Penguin hoody ever, solid chocolate Santa, GOSH bear and a selection box. Was quite overwhelmed by the loveliness of it all!
A Wii, snazzy perfume, earrings and a leather bracelet. (My brother said he'd pay for my piercing and buy me some more Wii games, but I'm not holding my breath )
From my family:
Electric drum kit
heated blanket
socks
lotion
A cool skeleton ring
Evelyn Evelyn graphic novel
From others:
Starbucks gift card
Panda gloves
Truffles
Can't wait to set up those drums. I've been living in tiny apartments with no room for my acoustic set. Now I can play all night and no one can hear me. Woohoo!
- A bunch of CD's, too many to list (although I saw a previous poster said they got Ceremonials by Florence + the Machine, and I did too! )
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2 on Bluray
- Hair clips, microphone charm for a necklace (as I'm taking singing lessons starting in Jan!)
- Breaking Dawn calendar
- Digimon plushie and Eeyore plushie
- An Intuos Wacom graphics tablet - I am so psyched to use this!!!
- Money from relatives (for my college savings account, so I'm not tempted to spend it )
And to the poster who got a Hermione wand - awesome! I got one myself at the end of the school year last June - ain't it amazing?!?
I am so super thankful right now!!!
"It's not a dream anymore. It's worth fighting for."
"Well, if it's not real you can't hold it in your hands
You can't feel it with your heart
And I won't believe it.
But if it's true
You can see it with your eyes
Oh, even in the dark
And that's where I want to be, yeah" - Paramore

He was no longer jean valjean but no. 24601 -les miserable
Some of life's mysteries will never be solved, such as why, after spending an entire evening listenong to Bach, do I find myself humming "the birdie song".......
I am reaching, but i fall, and the stars are black and cold, as i stare into the void of a world that cannot hold- les miserables
I opened my presents, I got a plastic craft box thing from my sister and a jewellery making book and some finger knitting thing. From my parents I got a pair of converse, a pair of slippers and some chocolate and my "grandad" gave me £20. Happy days!
Life can be beautiful if you let it.

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep.
And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare,
like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved.
I woke up into a nightmare.”
― Ned Vizzini
I didn't enter it so there was more to go around for other people. It's the thought that counts? It's a representation of this site and the amazing support people give and receive on it, not necessarily about the present itself.
