Having Trouble Finding a Therapist

I've been seing CAHMS for a while now and they're not really very useful and I want to go private, I need a therapist in the West Sussex area who can help with Bipolar Disorder/annorexia/stress and anxiety. Most therapists only work with those over 18...and i'm 17. Any ideas?

Can somewhere like Connexions provide you with details of any therapists for young people. It will be expensive going private though so think carefully before you take away your nhs support.

I've been with CAHMS before for other matters and they really didn't help then, my friend who had anger management was with them, then went private and they said it was so much better. I know it's expensive but they're really not helping I just go, tell her how i've been since the last appointment and she goes over stuff I already know. I'm not 18 till June next year, so I'd get about 2/3 months therapy then go to uni and have to start again next year. I'll try connextions and asking CAHMS and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the replies :)
