I made mine up while registering for Ruin Your Life back on ezboards. I had tried 6 or 7 standard words but they were all taken. Iso is from latin and means equal. Verity is the state of being true (derived from vēritās in Latin) . Many people at Ruin thought they were no good. I thought they were so I was bringing a positive counter to their negative - hence equal or equalising truth. I should have just called myself Insoverity since SO MANY people add an "n" for some reason.
that ^^ doesn't sound sad to me... in a story i was writing for class that was "personal fiction" i gave myself a nickname that i always wanted when i was little :P

oh wow ruin your life I haven't heard about that in awhile. I for the life of me can't remember the name I had on there it was probably something depressing since that was when my depression was at it's worse. oh my that was about 8 years ago wow I feel so old now.

I found a song on U tube called Atlantica by Ryan Farish and played it. Once i had finished listening to it, i loved it so much i decided that i would have it as my username. Nearly all of my previous usernames have all been weather related.
i was originally PastExpiration in reference to the fact that 1) i thought i should have died already and 2) that since i hadn't died, i was like food that was rotting and poisonous and gross and needed to be thrown out....
so some time passed, therapy, treatment, lots of time on here... decided that i wasn't feeling that way anymore, but didn't really want to change my name too much cause i still liked how it sounded and felt attached to it...
so became PassedExpectations meaning that i've come far and beyond my or anyone elses expectations of what i could do. realised afterwards i should have done SurpassedExpectations which would have made a bit more sense and still sounded similar enough, but oh well...

I love how this thread has made loads of people change/consider changing their usernames!
As for me, I'm Pi.R^2 (area of a circle), which stemmed from a group activity in year 9 when for some unknown reason I chose that as our team name, and it became quite famous in my year group (and everyone sure as hell knew how to find the area of a circle from then on!). Guess I must of just been reminiscing about that when I made my account on here!
And I definitely have never had any other usernames on here.
I was listening to Evanescence (as usual), wanted something to do with that, then thought I'd move away slightly from Ev and my mind landed on effervescence which sounds similar and "effervescent" is a word I used to use a lot in chemistry at school. And I quite like the idea of being fizzy/bubbly because it's totally unlike my personality but something to aim for.

When I was on Ruin I saw a picture that someone had drawn that was beautiful and I loved it so I borrowed the title. Also it means extreme sadness, which I thought fitted me at the time.
My name is based off the album "All We Know is Falling" by Paramore. They're my favorite band and I loved the album. But, I was going through a really bad time when I changed my name to this and it fit to say "All I know is falling" because everything was bad and was changing.
I felt alone and insignificant, hence insignifant. One because there is only me.
