Assessment Looming

My assessment is on Wednesday...I'm so scared...I can't face it. I'm so hideously fat...I am just going to be laughed out of the place. And I think it's a guy I'm seeing, a specialist nurse. How embarrassing. He'll just be looking at me thinking "Yep...she needs to lose weight...she's disgusting..how does she even leave the house?! She'll never get a boyfriend - what a hilarious thought, someone finding her attractive". But then again if it was a woman then she'd just be laughing at me as well, wondering why the hell anyone who looks like me is going to an ED clinic. Please kill me. I can't do it

Sweetheart, these people are here to help you, they will in no way be judging you. The way you feel about yourself is not what other people see when they look at you, and the people you will meet won't be thinking about the way you look, they'll be thinking about your emotional and physical health. I know it's terrifying to go for assessments, I really do, it always used to petrify me, but please believe me when I say you are not being judged. You can do this, I promise. The people there will be very supportive of your condition, not judging you on looks issues that are probably part of your illness rather than the truth as other people see it. I know it's scary, but you can do this. ***hugs*** good luck honey, just relax. I know it's difficult but your health is important. Take care, and PM me if you'd like to chat.
