My parents found out when I called the police for a suicidal member I was worried about on here, because the police told my parents how I knew them -_- My mum told me to leave it then, and she thinks I have (but I could never leave my beautiful RYLers <3)
But I don't think she remembers now, or if she does, she doesn't bring it up. And I don't think she knows of the RYL website because for 1, she doesn't know how to turn on a computer and 2, I don't think my dad would have bothered to look it up for her even if she did ask.

I don't think my Mum does, they both know that I use support sites. I really would not put it past my Dad to know which site, my user name etc even though I am 23 and barely have any contact with him. He is a bit of a control freak. It really is none of their business what I do on the internet though, I live on my own, have my own laptop and pay for my own internet.

I was on here about a year ago, and my Mum found the website in my browsing history and asked what it was, I just told her it was a support site. She knew about my SH at that time. I stopped using RYL for about half a year before coming back, but now I'm extra careful to make sure she doesn't find out, or she would know I was SHing again.
So in short, she knows about this website, but she doesn't know I still use it. My Dad doesn't know a thing, and neither do any friend IRL.

My mum doesnt know about RYL but knows that i 'used' to SH and i plan for her never to know. Only my best friend knows about RYL but i have just said it is a support site, not the name.

My dad knows as he took me to London to meet a friend from here. When he found out about my SI I didn't tell him for years about this website but when I did I explained how it was a positive site filled where I had made some lovely friends and he was okay about it. He posted on here once for me also.
