General Medical Question - Non Urgent - blood pressure?
since being pregnant ive suffered from high blood pressure and im on medication for it. im just wondering can it being hot effect it? And whats the highest it should be before i need to do anything about it? For the last two days its been rising higher than usual for me then going back down several times a day. I cant see my gp until next week to ask hin.

I would give your doctor a call, theres usually always someone on call or someone to answer your question. since your pregnant you don't want to take a chance.

I would definitely see a doctor asap. Sometimes hypertension in pregnancy can be the first time it presents and it can carry on. Alternatively pre-eclampsia/eclampsia can occasionally present soon after pregnancy which is why it's so important to get it checked out soon.
Congratulations on the baby :)

call your doctors office and tell them whats happening, they can give the message to your doctor and he will probably get back to you sooner than waiting for an appointment. when its something like blood pressure the doctor isn't going to want to mess around, he will tell you if its something that needs to be dealt with now or whatever. and since its bothering you call and telling medical professionals can put your mind at ease.

I agree with the above posters, calling your doctor will help as they can give you the answer you need. Pregnancy is very specific for each pregnant woman and while something may be something to worry about it person A's case, it may be totally fine for person B. Look after yourself a baby x

Hope you've rang the doctors and been to see them. I agree with the rest, this is something that needs to be checked by a doctor ASAP if you haven't already and with you being pregnant then hypertension can be even more of a problem as well as going on meds for it etc especially with you feeling unwell too. Whilst you're pregnant, if you feel unwell or something like that does continue to happen then it is more important to see your doctor earlier than you usually would for both you and the foetus.
