I'm Andy (nickname—sorry, I don't really give my real name online) and I'm 22, and will be 23 in about a month. As I guess you can see...I'm paranoid, untrusting, and also quite cynical. I'm a performed (as opposed to published because I haven't done that yet) composer and playwright. I've written other poetry and prose too, just haven't done a whole lot with that. I mostly play trumpet, guitar, and a little guitarron (Mexican bass guitar). I do sing, but my voice is more folksy than classical—even though I've sung in both genres. I love making fun of things, which probably explains why I love shows like Mystery Science Theater 3000 and South Park.

I am very athletic, smart, and I'm very confident with my looks.
I may be all these positive things but I would trade any of them to be genuinely happy. I haven't been honestly happy in a long long time yet I try to keep a very optimistic outlook on life. I don't let anyone walk over me and I try to be extremely nice to everyone I meet because you don't know what people are actually going through.

I am 22 years old and I post anonymously on here because RYL threads sometimes show up in Google searches. I'm in a line of work where it's common for people to google my name, and I like to keep my private life separate from my personal life.
I live in London. I used to be an RYL member when I was younger, then kinda "got better", but recently things have been difficult again.
My favourite TV programme of the last twelve months is Angry Boys. Except for a strange ending, it was wonderful.
