Getting some control at last!
I guess this is quite a small achievement in some ways, but I thought people here would understand how actually, this is quite a big deal!
A month or so ago I was cutting nearly every day, sometimes more than once. But in the last 10 days I have only SH'd once! I'm so pleased - atm I am not sure I'm ready to give up completely but I really wanted to get a little control over the urges and reduce my SH, which seems to be happening! The urges are still pretty much constant, but some days I seem to be able to say to myself "Do I really want to do this? Can I wait and see if it passes?" and with distractions I have been able to ride it out.
