When do I tell him I used to si & Have scars?

so, The Title basically Says it all really. I'm Dating someone atm. how long do people usually leave it before they tell/show the guy (or girl) you used to Si? (he's a wee bit older but we're both in our early/mid twenties,)

I usually only weight a couple of weeks then talk face to face & I give the guy a kind of -get out of jail free card- (so to speak) at the same time. I say if it bothers him to much we can just leave it where we are & he doesn't need to get back to me.

I was just wondering How long people wait? it's the balance so 'they' don't feel you should have told them earlier but also hopefully know you well enough to see your not crazy or full of drama.

I wear L-sleeves so their is no guessing/figuring out. (I think it's kind of unfair to expect guys to really notice you only wear Lsleeves in a few weeks) It can take girl friends months before they notice/mention anything.

Thanks!

I told my husband after like 2 weeks. Once it started getting serious, I sat down with him and talked about it immediately.

Moving forward!

Thankyou for your responces! It's always great to here others opinions/storries of how things went for them.

It's always difficult telling people because often you can't be sure how anyone will react. people you expect to over-react take it calmly and those you would expect to understand it shock you by compleatly missunsderstanding & getting the wrong end of the stick.

Also with something like SI, I dont think you can change a persons opinion on it or of their opinion of you once the've made their quick judgement.

Yeah, it's really a big chance. I've had friends who get super close to me after I tell them and try to help me with anything I need and I also had friends who didn't believe me and just walked away. How I see it, if they freak out then they probably arent people you want in your life anyway

Moving forward!

people usually know straight away with me, cos i don't bother to hide my scars. its part of who i am, and if people can't accsept it, then that is their problem not mine*shrugs*

Sometimes it is easier to hide where noone knows who you are.
