i will bring my pipe and things when i come over for the mead!
Also, i love snuff.
I drunk all my Mead so will have to get another batch on the go; then we can have a pipe and Mead meet.
I officially love you now because you love snuff lol. I like having Gawith Hoggarth English Rose when at work and McChrystals SP is my current snuff of choise for most other occasions. I like to have a tin of one of the WoS flavoured snuffs so that I can have a bit of a change from McChrystals every now and again
When I was last in Oxford I got a couple of different tins of Frederick Tranter snuff which were nice; will get some more when I'm next in Oxford. Will also try making my own snuff when my baccy plants are ready to start harvesting.
I just realised: we're not allowed to glamorise anything around here. And here we are extolling the virtues of carcinogenic chemicals. Nice to see that smokers are still rebellious. I feel a little cooler now.
I had a drag of a friends ciggy once, just to see what it was like.
And actually it wasn't as awful as I thought it would be.
I can see how people get hooked.
However I've never properly smoked and never will.
It stinks and is really off putting.
And if I didn't need any other reasons not to smoke, seeing someone die a slow, horrible death from lung cancer pretty much convinced me that its not worth it. Everyone has to die someday...but trust me, thats not a nice way to go.
smoking is disgusting and certainly not hot in anyway.
I have never and will never smoke, mainly because I'm asthmatic, if I breathe in a tiny bit of smoke I start wheezing, but I also really hate the smell, its just horrible. I am extremely anti smoking, I would like to see smoking banned in all public places inside and outside, the amount of times I end up having asthma attacks because I have to walk past smokers is ridiculous.
I have friends who smoke but as soon as they light up I move away and will only come back when they have finished.
Its a disgusting filthy habit and I hate it.

Lols. I don't smoke cos I am a stingy bastard, the thought of money on fags over money on clothes just puts me right off.
No bother with those who do, I actually like the smell of tobacco and smoke.
Though at one time I worked on a kiosk and my god the people who came in stank, worse asthmatic at the time it used to make me wheeze just standing near them!
I am right now going for my first rollie of the packet. It is not really cone shaped which is good!
Also, anyone realise the whole "Cutter's Choice" stereotype thing?
The world is just illusion always trying to change me.

As a young'un, I smoked a combination of B&H Silver and GV rollies. Then I pretty much gave up but still had the odd rollie. Now, due to epic stress, I'm back onto a couple a day but given I plan to run a marathon in 10 months, I really need to stop before it gets out of hand!
I quit smoking after taking it up at 13. I'm old enough now to see what it does to people over the years. Smoking really ages people. It also kills awareness since it gets used as a tranquilizer. `Quitting is like getting part of your soul back.
I have to quit before September or else my orthapedic surgeon won't cut me down next summer. (Due to a car accident my left leg is 4cm longer than my right so I'm getting it shortened.)

This isn't much coming from someone who still smokes, but it was easiest for me to quit by cutting down slowly. I actually went from a full cig, to half a cig, to a third of one at a time (though I saved them, and it made my cig box and therefore self stink unfortunately!) and eventually managed to get from 10 a day to half of one a day. Also, replacing cigs/smoking time with something else you find comforting (for me, a cup of tea) can help to fill those mini-gaps you have in your life by smoking.

I'd try that, but for me, drinking tea isn't so much "something I do to relax" as "something I do every hour or two" (it doesn't help that I smoke while waiting for the kettle to boil).
I can't think of anything I can do to relax that I can't do while smoking.
I should have added I quit smoking with no withdrawals using meditation linked in my profile. Smoking was a symptom of a prob (being emotionally out of control) and not a root cause. Struggling with smoking - or any symptom - makes it worse. You need a positive flow of strength from within to replace the bad habits that fill a void - the silent scream.

i am in oxford right now where do you buy these things from?
making your own snuff would be awesome.
I have this one at the mo that is like minty orange, although i think its just meant to be orange! is very nice.
I think ill be quitting soon, because Im moving and the people im going with dont smoke and Im much too lazy to go outside.Maybe I'll cut down.I try to avoid dating people who hate smoking as much as people avoid dating people that smoke.I hate the lectures ¬_¬ xx
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
Also, anyone realise the whole "Cutter's Choice" stereotype thing?
It was actually brought up at my first ever meet :) but all the cool kids smoke cutter's choice. I actually find it hard to smoke straights now (unless they're my sexy coloured ones- who doesn't want a pink cigarette?), but they just taste really rough.
Am giving up after Download though :( Seeing as uni will be over (bar a resit or two) and I'm trying to make some life changes this summer, and stopping smoking is one of them. Though I think I'll still smoke socially- the pub wouldn't be the same without smoking!
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
