I did your survey too. I'd also be interested in the results when you're done (if I'm still around) :)

Thanks everyone. I'm still collecting data, but will be releasing results when they're ready. That might be in a few months.

Krazeevilturtle, shall I add you to the list of people who would like to see the results?

Hi all, I had planned to close the survey so that I could analyse responses, but I'm still too busy with other work to do that! So the survey will remain open for a couple of weeks. This means that people can still take part. Please remember to read all of the first post in this thread so that you're aware of how long the survey will take to do.

Thanks everyone,
Andy.

I took it, too. It's a good survey, thank you. I wasn't triggered at all, either, if that helps.

If it's not too late, I'd like to see the results too. :)

Like that girl in that James Bond film, too late to respirate
Tragedy can be plain to see with lights and sirens
But sometimes it ain't quite so clear, Domestic Silence

Thank-you very much everyone. Yes Survivor15, this survey is for people aged 18 years and older. I'm sorry if this excludes anyone who wanted to take part.

Hemlock, thanks for your feedback. It is great to know that you weren't triggered

I am going to close this survey now, and finally get to work on analysing the responses! Within a couple of months I will send a summary of the results to people who indicated that they're interested.

Thank-you very much to everyone who took part in the survey or who was interested in it. I appreciate every single response and feel very privileged to have been able to read about your experiences. I am truly grateful to everyone for sharing their stories with me. I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again: You're all fantastic.

I am still collecting data for my other survey, which consists of just one question. This question is for people who have ever engaged in self harm in response to a positive emotion (happiness, excitement, pride etc), even if that positive emotion resulted from or led to a negative emotion. Information about this survey can be found here http://www.recoveryourlife.com/forum...d.php?t=159010

Hi StoneageDyson,

That's right - In the previous post I said that I was closing the survey. However, my other survey (regarding self harm and positive emotion) is still open.

Kind regards,
Andy.
