Also agreed with the above. Some of it was very very realistic, other parts not so realistic at all! But then, they couldn't really have done the storyline if it wasn't for the amount of time she spent with Matthew Kelly/psychiatrist, or the fact that she wasn't on medication or left to herself so much etc (also the fact that she could get into the other patient's room at night, although maybe that depends on the hospital...?)
Obviously a bit oversimplified, changing of reality etc for TV/dramatisation purposes though, but still a good episode I thought! Georgia Taylor acts very well.
I thought the whole Ruth scenario was quite realistic apart from teeny tiny things but mostly it was real compared to what I've experienced anyway. Found it kinda triggering too when she was saying she needed out and there was nothing wrong with her 'cos yeah.. ;/ thankful i didn't watch it with my parents!
I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.
I thought it was very well done, the acting by Ruth- giorga Taylor, I thought was really really fab, Its not like any hospital ive been to either, but i figured its gotta be done in a way for the viewers to be intrested in or like to watch. But the main idea of her illness I think was portrayed really well and thats the importnat thing, getting MH more recognised and understood :) x

When someone from Holby City turns up in Casulty my mind gets blown, like I'm not supposed to be seeing you again 'till Tuesday!
But I swear Hanssen's this mind-reading, future-telling bag of awesomeness :P
It was okay , it was agin akward watching it and it mentions suicide etc when my parents are there, given my history.. But i thought it was good. I just can't wait until Kirsty, Nita and Adam come back into it am dying to founf out what will happen!
I thought it was really good :) think they are doing well dealing with mental health, I also cant wait for kirsty and Nita to get back !!!!x
