*kicks TFL*

I have a meeting to go to on Wednesday morning.
If I walk a bit it's one bus, instead of hefty walking and a tube, or a tube and a bus.
Ok. Fine.
tfl are fecking telling me it's 3 buses.
But get this - it says

What?! It's telling me to get off the fecking bus and then get on another the same number, and pay, what another £1.20? Is that how they get money then?!!! Gah!

Well,that was rude.Obviously Katie has a problem with this, having a routine is important for a lot of people, especially people with anxiety and when that routine is broken it can be a stressful experience.

Katie, maybe theres a problem on TFL or theres problems on the bus routes or something?Im not sure. But I know that sometimes they change, when I check routes it seems to be different a lot of the time for the same journey. If you want to PM me your route I'll have another look for you and see whats going on with it?

Plus it always sucks having to pay more money!xx

Yep, am really stressed right now, and this kind of took the biscuit, as it were - an additional frustration! Usually I can figure out ways around tfl's weirdnesses.
It's an important meeting with one of the top senior managers to try and clarify some more of my complicated situation re the impending redundancy etc, and she's so busy it has to be at her office, not where I'm working. And I have to travel first thing in the morning, which is stressful for me at the best of times, and then I need to get back in time for my appointment in the afternoon - which I will, it's just all a stress. Never mind the meeting in the middle!

I'll check with my colleagues to see if they know if anything's happening on that route. There are road works nearby, but as far as I know, not on that route. Liv, I'll get back to you if I need you to check for me - much appreciated.

I can understand some of your frustration Katie. I'm due to move soon and checked out the bus route to a large supermarket and the TFL page told me to get two buses each way with the second bus stopping at the exact point where it told me to start. I've put it down to TFL trying to take advantage of people who aren't sure of the route.
