Help please....mobile number on internet.

Ok...basically, for like 1 day I had my mobile number in my RYL signature...then I realised it was a bad idea and I changed it. But the thing is...now if I type my mobile number into google, the top two links that come up and two links to this site. When I had it in my sig, I had commented in two forums...and a link to my reply with my mobile number and name comes up on google, even though I don't have that sig any more. The reason I'm worried about this is because I desperately do not want my sister or my parents to find me on this site, coz it's really private and I've put stuff on here that I do not want people I know, knowing. If you get me. So does anyone know how I can get rid of all traces of that sig, and stop it from coming up in google? I will delete my account and make a new one if thats the only way to do it...but I'd rather not. Help anyone???

It takes a while for Google to realise that you no longer have your mobile number in your RYL signature. It will stop coming up as a link fairly soon, I should imagine, but not right now. I don't think many people type mobile numbers into Google anyway, do they? Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine.

You could even perhaps delete those posts that come up on Google?

I would suggest whats been said above try delete the post you have made but like shine sayd they do disapear from google after a while. And to be honest i didnt even no mobile numbers came up in search engines so i doubt many people would put your number in google

Yeah, I'd delete those posts however Google seems to capture things and I dont know how long it takes for it to update or whatever.
