Hotline?

Plain and simple what happens if i call a suicide hot line does it come back to bite me in the ass i mean if i feel suicidal that does not mean I'm going to commit suicide so are there any consequences to calling a suicide hot line?

Doesn't it depend upon what you say to them?
I mean, if you ring up and say "I have a plan and am going to carry it out now." (or words to that effect) then they are going to react by calling an ambulance to help you out.
If you ring up and say you are struggling with suicidal thoughts then it is more likely that you will just be talked to, rather than forced to hospital.

Take care.

I think it would depend on which one you ring. Like the samaritains don't have a re-dial service and have just talked to me each time I have called them.
Take care <3

The sams have rang me back though i did give them my number, but they delete it after the call. If its something like childline if they feel your or someone else is in danger eg hurt yourself badly they will get help too you if they can.

depends on the hotline.

Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

It depends who you phone and what you said, some places are there to only listen to you and they wont phone an ambulance if you dont want them to even if you are in danger, but some will try anything to help if they think you have done something to badly hurt yourself.

I wasnt suicidal, i told them that i had relasped and cut after 6 months of not, and they traced my number, had an amulence sent to my house and it was a horrile experience. The ladies were very rude too. They didnt even talk really, i could hear them typing and thats all
