I love writing to people and getting replies and came up with the thought that maybe some of us RYLers can maybe exchange postal addresses and maybe write to eachother?
I think it might be a nice distraction idea too? And its great for people that are a bit shy, as writing to people can sometimes bring people out of their shells and get them out there more.
Erm well if your interested, post on here. Make sure you put your name, how old you are, where your from and if your male/female. If someone catches your eye- PM them or post on here.

im not saying to give your address out straight away. get to know eachother first, email/talk on msn. if you decide to give your address to someone: keep it between the two of you. do not tell anyone else what it is. Whatever you write as a reply on here, is up to you. Try not to say anything to personal, only stuff you feel confortable with. This is NOT a good idea. You should NEVER give out your postal address and personal information about yourself to people over the internet. I'm not saying there are stalkers on RYL but there could be. The things you write to your penpal about could enable someone to trace you (e.g. school and clubs you go to). I would hate for anything bad to happen to people because of this idea. I know its really nice to recieve letters but just have your penpal via email, and dont give out personal info that could enable someone to trace exactly where you are. I'm letting a mod know about this thread as well. Sorry to be a bit of a kill joy.
great idea. i used to write to my friends all the time. it was a lot of fun, we could include little things...like pictures and drawings. yes, you can do this with email. but having a tangible item is always nice. well. now i just really want to write to a couple of my old friends, but if anyone here wants to get in contact with me feel free to PM me. i live in ICT, USA.
