Christian Music

It has come to my attention that we are in need of a place to discuss wonderful God-honoring music! So here it is! Post lyrics, videos, recommend a song or band or cd... Whatever you like... But, please keep it Christian, if you'd like to discuss secular music, there are other threads for that.

I'll start.. This is "held" by Natalie Grant.

I love it because it's got me through some tough times... It's so true, God never said we wouldn't hurt, but that he'd be right there with us through it.

I have to say without a doubt that the BEST christian band i have ever heard is

The Gentlemen!

I saw them live at new wine and i fell in love with them and their music!
Just the passion from the audience when they play is amazing.
Theyre also sooo nice =] we had our picture taken with them and they signed our arms and silly stuff like that! The Frontman Nick Noble is soo Funny and very genuine.
A lot of my non-christian friends love their music aswell as ive introduced them to it! They just have great music!

their myspace page is: http://www.myspace.com/gentlemusic
I'm all for promoting them!

I also love Reliant K just cos their great!

To the people who have continually broken down my walls, thank you, you are real friends who i will never forget. xxx

Relient K are pretty cool, before I started listening to them I was like sure that I was an athiest, now I'm not so sure of that, haha..

I love that song... When my friend Joey committed suicide I listened to it like 80 times in a row, it helped me find peace!

I'm VERY excited. because i get to see Hawk Nelson [at the revolve tour] on Sept 21-22!

Sometimes they still tour, but they don't make new music. Toby McKeehan[sp?] is making his own albums under the name tobyMac... He's really good. This is first single. he has a new one out, called "made to love" I recommend it, too. but it has no video yet

[DCTalk] they all released solo albums a few years ago,, i had 2 of them but not Toby McKeehan's. Michael Tate's was really good though, i remember listening to it so much!

12 Stones i really like, do they have a new album out soon? *Googles*

i don't know many new Christian bands as i stopped listening to alot of it a few years back,, i might start looking some more up =)
