How goes the guitar learning? I tried once, but gave up >_>

I've only had one lesson so far but the teacher seems laid back and knowledgeable so I think it will go well. Been practicing chords every day this week and am getting the hang of it. I've had the guitar about a year after my brother gave it to me but figured that lessons would be the only thing to keep me committed to learning as I tried on my own a couple of times but gave up quite quickly.
Just got one more assignment to do and then I'm done for this semester.
lucky i have so much work to do and find that i can't even considerate long enough to write one line of code.
I hope you all stay strong and take better care of yourselves than I have been known to do in real life.

Apparently buses aren't turning up and Metros are really really late here - people have been standing waiting for over an hour...so I don't think I'm going to get into work *sigh* Can't really afford to stand in minus temperatures when I have this monstrosity of a cold. The 2 I've had this year have been horrendous. I sound like a man, can hardly breathe, going through about 10 tissues a day, my concentration is totally shot and my brain has fallen out. It's bloody awful :(
On a brighter note, though, I'm hitting a whole year free of SI (not including 2 minor slip ups) in about 2 weeks, and it's got me thinking.
I've been considering getting a tattoo for a few weeks. I'm now thinking if I want a tattoo to symbolise everything I've overcome. I mean, I'm not thinking of getting it any time soon but I can't help but think about it.

It started as just the lemniscate - the sign for infinity, ∞. It means, to me, always free. It'll always be with me, as a part of my life, but I don't need it any more and I never will again. Freedom for infinity? :P
Then I've bought this necklace for Christmas, and it's a dragonfly (they're so pretty :3) and it's reminded me of The Butterfly Project and I combined them and...
I know it's not perfect :P Just a sketch.

thats a good idea, because that way if you you go for job interveiws and stuff they won't see them. they'll be hidden just like the map is.
you aren't one of those people who jump and scream when people poke them in the ribs though are you gabz? (Like me) cos getting a tattoo there might turn out interesting.
