Also, to be stereotypically English, whenever you have to do something (not even considered rude or inconvenient) that may possibly get in the way of somebody else, add 'sorry' on the end. eg. 'can i just use this parking space as i have an incredibly bad back and cannot really travel further than this to get where i want to go without being in extreme agony - terribly sorry to bother you...'
Yes, that's an english thing. To say sorry even when it's not your fault. "Oh you appear to have walked into me, sorry."
"Oh I'm sorry, you appear to have hit me with your car."

This.
Also I may have gone mad, but don't American's hold their knife and fork in the opposite hands to us? As in we hold the fork in the left knife in the right, but in the USA it's the opposite way round?

We love a queue. and a good moan.
Mostly about how long the queue is, how slow it's moving, and about all these bloody foreigners, coming over here, with no idea of what a decent bloody queue looks like ^_^

Also if you are down south, don't talk to people on public transport, people find it weird, but if you're in northern England, it's considered rude not to.
Really? I'm kind of as far south as you can get without getting wet (short of the isle of wight) and I get chatting to people on the bus all the time.
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
We also have our own sense of humour, Americans have trouble getting it.

Yeah, most people over here hold fork in right and knife in left.
I do not. I hold it with fork in left and knife in right (My grandma is from England, she taught me ;)
I get British humor
though I have some trouble with it when I watch Monty Python :/
and I'm well aware that not all of you know the Queen :p
and for the person that asked if the US uses knife and fork opposite
uh....I'm left handed so my fork goes in my left hand if I'm eating
though I can't very well use my right hand for much of anything.
so when cutting food I hold the fork with my right.
but yeah..I guess people here do that opposite..I've never really paid attention
though I've been told by several family members that I hold my silverware "wrong"
but that's cause of my injury...I never really learned how to use eating utensils "properly" because my moter {spelled wrong I'm sure} skills are sh*t. and couldn't grasp a knife and fork the right way well enough to use it.
I've been told I eat with a fork and cut my food like a kid -eyeroll-

English and American spellings are different; english grammar/spelling freaks (like myself) get angry if you suggest that the English way is the wrong way.

And it's aluminium not aluminum, and pat-ronised, not pate-ronised. Haha.
tbf., I don't think anybody really cares enough to bother about it. It's just that there is a difference.
