thank you. The hat is starting to take shape now too, which is exciting, it's my first time using 4 needles. I've never used double ended needles before so i keep worrying the stitches will drop off the end. I made my own stitch marker with my jewellery and bead stuff :) it's looking kind of big so I might be making it for my 15 month old niece!

I wanted to knit a bag (i'm new to knitting) and saw Double ended needles and clicked off the pattern..those things scare me.

Your cardi is really cute though, looks really good. I have the same problem with dropping stitches and making my own.

good luck with the hat!

the double ended needles are going fine. and my mother was right, the only reason why i was dropping and making new ones in the past were because i wasn't paying attention and that was because I wasn't knitting to a pattern, so if i ****ed up i didn't really notice. I've got about 5cm of proper hat going on now. I need 15cm.
