i thought id re-dye my hair again as the roots were showing and the bloody dye went everywhere. all over the floor, sink, walls, it dripped down my back - even tho i had a towel round my shoulders - over my face, arms, chest! gah! now i look like a monster especially as the dye was black! i tried using one of those towel things u can get to remove dye from ure sin and it doesnt even work! raaaahhhh!!! oh well.. it'll come off.eventually....

the towel things i use work on black dye...they even worked on blue and pink dye and they worked on the bath and walls too. i use stainaway towels - dunno if they're the ones you got. use the rouchside as a scrubby cloth and then turn over to wipe away anything else.
shampoo (head and shoulder/wash and go) is good for stripping dye from hair, try using some of that on a flannel to get ride of it? wear a binliner (cut hole in top for your head) then you don't get stuff on your shoulders/back - just gotta protect your neck. and vaseline around the edges works wonders. mand x

Use henna *nods* it takes longer to work, so you have time to clean up without staining everything in sight, it lasts much longer and it is actually good for your hair. It smells and takes ages to wash off but it is worth it.
