Hello Gabz. I'm trying to be okay. This is the calmest day I have had in a few days... but I'm just feeling very iffy about certain situations and myself. Hopefully it passes soon /:
I just call people up and ask them to donate money to my university. It is a hard job some days, but I love it. I get to talk to some of the craziest people that attended my uni.
I could not do teaching. Since I'm a geography graduate that's what everyone expects of me. I would not be able to handle it at all.

My uni do that, but I think it's a lot more common for alumni to donate in the US than it is here. No one gives money to their university.

My job was beautifully described by another work as: "a job where you have to look after thousands of toddlers". People are so thick, it's a wonder they managed to get there in the first place.

It's usually a bar on, or near, the university grounds where the students go when they've finished classes for the day.
they will often hire students to work there and host student functions like parties and such.

You must have like social places for students? Here we have the student union (my uni has two, but that's Glasgow for you) where students undertake a lot of alcohol-fuelled tomfoolery. Where there is cheap alcohol and entry to club nights is usually free. There are also things like pool/snooker tables, TV rooms, areas where sports are shown, etc.
Adam, we went in between classes. A friend of mine turned up drunk to a lab class. Oops.
Oh Gabz, some people are idiots! I see similar things. Has anyone ever known a theatre to have rows where F is the front and A is the back? Or where they go something like B - G - A - C - E - D - F?

aha, oh dear. It would be funny, if it weren't so tragic.
The other staff find it funny when I deal with "guests". I'm far more stubborn than them and will not give in. I'll shout at them, if I need to. I'll be having a perfectly normal conversation with someone, suddenly see someone who is, say, sitting on something they shouldn't be or they'll have a hat/glasses on, and I'll shout "GET DOWN/TAKE THOSE GLASSES OFF! YES, I MEAN YOU!" XD
