*squishes tight* no advice, but thinking and praying for you <3
“The good things don’t always soften the bad, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.”
“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important before.”
“If it’s time to go, remember what you’re leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me.”
un forgetting: i can't even begin to imagine how hard that would be...and i myself have no real good advice either...but i've heard this one guy speak and he has chronic pain and he might have a sermon online about how he deals with it....his name is Michael Easely...you might just wanna check it out :)
he said that at one point, he stopped getting up in the morning asking "why me lord" and changed the question to "how?" so instead of "why do i have to live this life...how do i live this life..." i don't know if that helps at all...
other than that...i'll be praying for you...and remember that it's OK to get angry at God, it's normal...but just try to work through that anger and allow it to bring you closer to Him in the end. (easier said than done...)
Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

I just wanted to pop by and impart a piece of wisdom that was shared at caritas 08 by the Archbishop of York, The Most Revd and Rt Hon John Sentamu "If anyone is in Christ he – or she – is new creation. The past is forgotten and passed away. A new being altogether begins, transforming God’s people and the whole creation. When Jesus gets on board in a person’s life things change absolutely. There’s nobody for whom just a few minor adjustments will do. If you have been living without the benefit of Jesus’ presence, and then you welcome him into your life – then you will notice the difference. It’s a bit like when a long awaited child is born into a family. First of all there’s the wonder of it – all the tears and laughter and flowers and people coming to visit – and you think – this is a dream – it’s not real – but it is, and as time goes by you notice a lot more changes. Less sleep, and you have to learn a new language to communicate with this new person in your life – suddenly everything has a new focus. This little person has come and taken over. But in spite of the sleepless nights, and the end of your social life as you knew it, and all the work and expense that goes with it – there’s no doubt – you wouldn’t have it any other way! " For some reason I was led to share this this evening - even though I had set out to share something else he has said.
God Bless you all.

Tell them to look up. Tell them to remember the *stars*. The stars are always there. We miss them in the dirt and in the clouds. We miss them in storms. Tell them to remember Hope. We have Hope.

I've thought a lot about that too, I think for the same reasons as you. I very much believe in God, but I am SO angry at all I'm going through right now. I don't think that giving up on God would make my life any better; it would actually probably make it worse! You make a lot of sense... There are so many times that I feel like God isn't doing his job and I just want to walk away, but I don't because all in all, I think he has positively impacted my life.
