I would read the books but i figured there wasnt much point since i was already half was through the series.
the books and tv series are worth it each in their own right, yes the tv series is based upon them, but its just that, based..there is alot of differences
I like the books far more than the series. The series isn't anything like the books, in my opinion. Yes, it is based on the books, but it leaves out things that I found very interesting of important to the plot.
I love True Blood!!! I hate Sookie Stackhouse! I don't get why everyone is so hung up on her. Yeah, I get she has telepothy. Yes, she goes have a great body but, MY GOD!!! She is so incredibly annoying. She is so self rightous and she gets angry at Bill for every little thing that she doesn't like. She Hates Eric even though he helps her out all the time. She is so mean to him. I really can't stand Sookie in the TV show. I haven't read the books so, I'm sure if I read the books, I wouldn't hate Sookie as much but, as of now, based off of the TV series, I can't stand her. OH! and if I hear her scream one more time I'm gonna hurt someone...lol

Well, the books at least. I've only watched season 1 of the tv show, and I found it very different to the books. Book-wise, I've just finished dead & gone. I much prefer the books to the show. I <3 Eric haha
