I don't really know very much about the new benefits situation, so my answers may not be wholly accurate.
I think, yes, the attempt is to get everyone who can work, into some form of work, so everyone on Jobseeker's allowance will be 'encouraged' (well, possibly a bit more strongly) into getting a job.
As far as I know, the plan for other benefits is to make them a bit harder to actually get in the first place, but if you're on them already I *think* that they're going to be looking at every case individually.
Like I said, I'm not 100% sure on any of this.
I do think it's a good idea to try to find some form of part time work on your own. Even if it's just for a few hours a week, and even though it might not be your dream job, it's worth trying. Working and shops and that, a lot of places give shifts that are just 4 or 5 hours at a time, so you won't have to do it all day.
Just try to keep calm, don't panic about it. I know it's really hard, but you just have to remember that it won't do anything to help the situation. Try to read up on the benefits stuff, get as much information as you can. Also, maybe speak to your doctor too, if you can?
