my poor feet!

Well, it's my own fault.
I walked a few miles in new sandals. [albeit flat sandals.]

I have a huge blister on the underside of my second smallest toe, and generally painful feet.

I'm at work, and limping all over the place. Technically we're not allowed to sit down much. But.

Anyone have any good fixes for blisters and sore feet?

I am currently:

You can get blister plasters which I think are more padded than normal ones; and maybe you could try those gel pad things you can put in your shoes to make it through a night out, might make it more comfortable at work

Epsom salt soak in a bath tub or tub or very warm water, elevate feet. Massage of feet is also nice.

I agree the blister plasters are really good, hope your feet feel better soon

I know here you can get that kind of thing from a supermarket, not sure if that helps? Or even at work do you have a first aid kit with band aids? They could help a little in the meantime

you can get plister plasters with active healing stuff in them, compeed? also gel patches are good before you get the blisters.

i have a friend who has some of the gel packs (her is a kids one in the shape of a basketball... point is its flat) and she put these in the fridge every night and wears them in the bottom of her shoes in the day, keeps feet cool in the summer.

I've been wearing shoes and socks again as the weather changed! Thankfully my feet don't hurt in these. But I'll see what I can get, for when the weather improves again. Or I might just have to buy a pair of sandals and look around more first and pay more, just to be sure they'll be comfortable.

Things like Compeed Blister plasters are great, my mum buys them in bulk for me, because I'm stupid and live in heels despite the fact they kill my feet :) You can also buy Party Feet (or any generic variant of) which are super-comfy and help to stop blisters appearing.

If you can, maybe go to Lush and invest in some bath soak? I mean, you could go anywhere, but after a night out wearing heels my feet feel so much better after soaking them in a bath with a ballistic bomb and a foot scrub.

Glad your feet are feeling better now though!
