The Mole was bewitched, entranced, fascinated. By the side of the river he trotted as one trots, when very small, by the side of a man who holds one spell-bound by exciting stories; and when tired at last, he sat on the bank, while the river still chattered on to him, a babbling procession of the best stories in the world, sent from the heart of the earth to be told at last to the insatiable sea.

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.

Although my boyfriend calls his dad Blob. And his dad calls him Blob too. *shrugs* Never had the foggiest why but their convo's are funny:

mum = mummy, mum, mama if im being silly and sometimes her name (i used to call her tawny because she was the leader at my brownies lol)
dad = dad, daddy, papi if im being silly
I call my mom Mama. I always used to when I was little and it just kind of stuck. xD Since my dad's dead I don't exactly call him anything, but when I talk about him or something I refer to him as Daddy.
I'm so glad that 'Mum' appears more often than 'Mom'! Seriously grates on me as virtually all of my friends are of the 'Mom' persuasion.
I think I say Mum, Mummy if I'm really desperate for something and Madre if I'm feeling cheery.
There are remarkable things all the time, right in front of us,

If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"
