Adult - Stupid Decision

I made a bad decision. I decided to lose my virginity to someone i'm not in a relationship with and someone that i'm not even really friends with. I just wanted to lose it because I hated lying and saying that I wasn't a virgin. I don't believe in not having sex before marriage I don't really care have as much sex as you want if your not married but what I did was stupid. I'm afraid i'm going to get pregnant because I don't think he knew how to put on a condom correctly and the condom I had I bend it plenty of times. I'm scared so much that i'm gonna get pregnant because if I did my mom would find out and my dad and my brothers and family and friends. I would have an abortion but it still bothers me that I might get pregnant. I was so so stupid. I'm a screw up.

what exactly do you mean about the condom? sorry i don't really understand about the bending? =/

but don't worry it'll be okay, when was this? could you still take the morning after pill?

I bent the package a couple times. It happened at 4 pm so about 4 hours ago. How do I get the morning after pill?

Go to a pharmacy and ask for it. I think you have to be 17 to receive it.

If you go to the pharmacy you should be able to get the morning after pill, just ask for it. I believe its still effective 2 or 3 days after so you should be fine if it was only 4 hours ago. I also don't think bending the package should have effected the condom too much. You'll be okay. You're definitley not a screw up. We all make bad decisions every now and then- try not to beat yourself up about it too much. That won't do anyone any good- it'll just hurt you more. *hugs* You can get through this. yeah go and get the morning after pill if you're worried you can get it from just about any pharmacy to be honest

As people have suggested - if you can go to a pharmacy and get the morning after pill. Its a pill that is effective for 72 hours after sex if the condom breaks or you've forgotten to take the pill.

I'm not entirely sure what it does TBH X_X But I know its supposed to be effective in preventing pregnancy.

If you used a condom it is very unlikely you will be pregnant.

Just to be safe take morning after pill. It is about 25 quid if you get it from chemist but free if you go through GP. They won't judge you about it.

*hugs* I did pretty much the same thing so I know it can make you feel bad about yourself afterwards. but it's ok, we all make decisions we regret and it's something to learn from, not anything to beat yourself up over. definitely take the morning after pill, but know it's very unlikely you are pregnant having used a condom. but still take it just in case.

I went to planned parenthood today and got the morning after pill. I took the 1st pill earlier today and I feel sick. Like i'm gonna throw up. I have to take the 2nd (last one) at like 2 am because its 12 hours after your first one.
But I guess its better than being sick for 9 months

You're certainly not a screw up. You may regret it, but I don't think it reflects on you at all.

Now about the pregnancy fear, you already have the morning after pill, so that should take care of everything. I've heard it does make you feel pretty ill for a little while. I'm a guy so I've never actually taken it myself, but I know those that have. I would say stay up to take it as scheduled just to make sure it has maximum effectiveness. It'll be a bit unpleasant for a while, but better than the alternatives I suppose. And you'll feel a lot better since you won't be worried for another month or however long.

As for the future, bending the package probably isn't likely to break a condom, they are built to be pretty sturdy. But if you're ever unsure, then being safe is always the best choice in my opinion.
