I'm not used to having people to talk to so I don't feel like I deserve it. Just the offer has made me cry more, feel like I'm falling apart. I know I'll be fine later or tomorrow. It might not have been a good idea to turn to this thread when I'm in such a state but it seemed like the right thing to do.
I've spent the whole ****ing day being there for other people without telling them the mess I feel in.

Yeah, I think mine are on their last legs, tbh. When they do finally go, I'll probably upgrade then. And if I secure funding for my Masters course then I can splash out a bit.

I understand that, Cath, I really do. Until I came on here, I really wasn't used to having people offer to listen to me. But know that you do deserve it, especially seeing as you listen to other people so much. You have every right to vent at someone and get some support. We're all here for you because we all care and want to do anything we can to make you feel better.
No one expects you to handle everything on your own. I personally think it's impossible to - you sometimes need to vent and allow people to support you.

It is worth it. Some of the games you can get are amazing and the quality of the graphics is...just wow. Our PS3 is hooked up to HD and on Arkham Asylum, you could see every curve on Batman's suit in such detail!

Yeah, my friend has his hooked up to his gigantic HD TV. It's pretty awesome. Was playing Mirror's Edge the other day, it was quite good. The controls were a bit weird at first, but it's a good wee game. It was £5, and for that can't really go wrong.
I rented KH at first, and took me ages to figure out one bit in Deep Jungle. I couldn't see the vine I needed to climb. But I really got into it. I totally love it. KHII was maybe a little easy though, and a lot more linear.

I spent so long on that level in the first one. So long. The stupid swimming controls kept annoying me. And Donald kept using up all his magic and all his potions/ethers. At least he improved in the second one. I kept getting lost too, I could just never remember where things were. I didn't like Pirates of the Caribbean either. But I don't like the film so that might be why.
Went to see Video Games Live (awesome!) when it was at my work and they played the KH theme. My friend sat there and said "are all those Disney characters in the game?!" He couldn't believe there were so many, never mind the FF ones too.
