new to this kinda thing...just want to say hi

hey,

my names em, im 22, and i have been a self harmer for 6 years now.
i have stages where i manage to stop myself, and until last week i had managed to go for nearnly a year without harming yet everything kinda got on top of me again, so think i might need to help get over it all rather than thinking i can fight it alone, and seing on here you guys all sem to help each other so much, kinda hoping it will go me some good.

i love all sorts of music and films, find films/ theatre etc help a lot as its like i kinda slip into the play so im not really me. if that makes any sence?

so thats me really, thought id just say hi
