I have never tried WoW for the sole reason that an old housemate of mine literally spent at least ten hours a day on it and practically was a hermit crab, it was quite crazy. It does look amazing though. I adore RPGness but am currently going through the Final Fantasy series and my retro Sims xD

Recently got back into it. Started a Kajiit (can't remember spelling- the cat people). She's a vampire now and I'm enjoying that.

Before I got back into Oblivion I played a lot of Fallout 3.
Made by the same people, so the controls and engines were the same.
Easy to go from one game to the other.

That's probably true. Blood elves are addicts. When their source of magic: The Sunwell was destroyed by the great enemy: The Litch King. They realised how addicted to magic they were, they need it to survive. They can steal it from others now, by sucking their life force from them.
Some elves seek to find a cure for their addiction, but no luck.
Elves that have been consumed by the addiction (which is hinted to be the eventual fate of the entire race) become The Wretched:
They attack without mercy and try and suck the life out of anything they see. Killing them is considered a mercy amongst the elves.
The worst thing that happened to the Night elves was the destruction of the sacred tree that granted them immortality.

Oh cool. I have played 6, it is apparently pretty rare, this was around 5 or 6 years ago I had it.
I am going through 7,8,9,10 and then seeing where next xD VII is actually one of my favourite games in the world, it's absolutely epic.
